Blizzard is continuing to drop fresh content for Diablo Immortal, as more heroes seem to be joining in the fun in Sanctuary on both PC and mobile. Following the substantial addition of class changes and more endgame content, Blizzard has detailed a mini-update of sorts that is now live for players all over the world.

Season Three Battle Pass: Aspect of Justice

First up is the Season Three Battle Pass titled Aspect of Justice. Starting on August 4, at 3:00 a.m. server time, players will be able to enjoy 40 ranks worth of challenges and rewards. As usual, you can either take on the challenge on the free path or dive into the paid Empowered Battle Pass and Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass.

Following the first batch of post-launch content just a few weeks ago, the folks behind the free-to-play mobile action-RPG title have unveiled their newest additions. First announced to a cold reception back in 2018, Blizzard Entertainment’s popular Diablo series is making the jump to mobile phones with a spin-off called Immortal. Earlier today the publisher finally locked in a June 2 release date for Android and iOS platforms during a digital event hosted by game director Wyatt Cheng and Adam Fletcher, senior manager of community development.

In a move that is likely to please longtime fans of the franchise, and one that is in stark contrast to its initial plans for the game, the publisher also confirmed that Diablo Immortal will receive a PC version. Further, there will be cross-play functionality between the two.

Back in October, mobile gamers were given the first taste of Blizzard’s Diablo Immortal with the Closed Beta. The limited experience included plenty of meat to chew through, including new classes, gameplay additions, and other quality-of-life changes like controller support. Sharing in a lengthy blog post, game director Wyatt Cheng touched on several areas that will be improved for the final release, and it is not surprising to see that the overall player experience is still the top priority. For the game’s Bounty system, which was meant to encourage group play, it will now be only for solo play so that grouping will no onger feel forced.

Blizzard is currently hosting BlizzConline and a Q&A Session dedicated to the Diablo franchise has just been livestreamed, with plenty of interesting details shared by the developers.
